7/15/2025The International Management bachelor’s program is a practice-oriented program that aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to take on a position in the field of business administration for an international enterprise active within any sector, or any association, scientific institution, or public body. Students will gain specialist knowledge in the field of business administration within an international context and, as a result, they’ll be qualified to pursue a future career in middle management. After successfully graduating from the bachelor’s program, students can start the master’s program. What our students can expect: To gain basic knowledge of business administration from an international perspective. To practically apply the specialist knowledge acquired. To acquire social and methodological skills to prepare the students for an optimal start to their careers. To obtain intercultural competencies, especially during their mandatory semester abroad. To have the opportunity to gain work experience in an internship. During their first and second semester, students will learn the basics of business administration. Five compulsory modules worth 6 credit points will be covered each semester. For their third semester, students will be required to complete a semester studying abroad. You’ll find more information on studying abroad and our partner institutions here. Students may also spend their fourth semester studying abroad, or they may choose to spend a semester as an internship, either abroad or in Germany. If students choose to complete a semester as an internship within Germany, it must have an international element. The choice lies with the student. The internship lasts 20 weeks, whether it is completed in Germany or abroad. International business administration is the focus of the fifth and sixth semesters. Students will have the option of choosing between two modules in both semesters, allowing them to tailor the knowledge they’ll acquire. During the sixth semester, students will also work on their Bachelor’s thesis (8 credit points), which will be followed by an oral examination (4 credit points). The order of the third, fourth, and fifth semesters is not fixed and can be changed. Please note that classes start being held in English from the first semester onwards and, as such, a high level of English is required.
