7/15/2025The dual bachelor’s program in International Management is a practice-oriented program run in collaboration with a partner company. The aim is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to take on a position in the field of business administration for an international enterprise active within any sector, or any association, scientific institution, or public body. Students will gain specialist knowledge in the field of business administration within an international context and they’ll be allowed to study whilst putting theory into practice at the same time. After successfully graduating from the Bachelor’s program, students will be qualified to take on positions in middle management, or they’ll have the option to start the Master’s program. What our students can expect: To gain basic knowledge of business administration from an international perspective. To combine theory with practice at the partner company. To acquire social and methodological skills. To obtain intercultural competencies, especially during their mandatory semester abroad. During their first and second semester, students will learn the basics of business administration. Five compulsory modules worth 6 credit points will be covered each semester. For their third semester, students will be required to complete a semester studying abroad. You’ll find more information on studying abroad and our partner universities here. The fourth semester is a semester as an internship, spent at the partner company. Students may choose to do this at a branch abroad or the company’s German office whilst completing work with an international element. The internship lasts 20 weeks, whether it is completed in Germany or abroad. International business administration is the focus of the fifth and sixth semesters. Students will have the option of choosing between two modules in both semesters, allowing them to tailor the knowledge they’ll acquire. The sixth semester involves two modules completed in collaboration with the partner company (see the program structure). The order of the third, fourth, and fifth semesters is not fixed and can be changed. Please note that classes start being held in English from the first semester onwards and, as such, a high level of English is required. Students will spend around 50% of their time on the degree program at the partner company.
