7/15/2025This four-semester multiple master's degree program focuses on Palaeolithic Archaeology, human evolution, paleotechnology, prehistoric societies and ideologies, zooarchaeology, and geoarchaeology. The program is taught in English and jointly offered by the Universities of Aix-Marseille, Rome (Sapienza), and Tübingen, under the European CIVIS Alliance. Fieldwork, academic training, and internships are integral to the program. Students specialize through electives and international collaboration, including fieldwork in South Africa. The curriculum builds upon programs at the participating universities and the degree is recognized in all three.
