It closes a gap between the basic research-oriented physical and technical subjects (physics, electrical engineering, acoustics, signal processing) and life sciences (medicine, biology, psychology), an provides optimal qualification for entrance into an excellent research field and diverse career options in industry, clinic, and academia.The program is linked to the Cluster of Excellence "Hearing4all" and thus has high interdisciplinarity between physics, medicine, acoustics, and neurosciences. It offers early research contacts and the opportunity to work at university and extra-university institutes such as Fraunhofer, HörTech, and Hörzentrum Oldenburg.
