If you want to become a teacher, you must follow the combinations of subjects for each teaching position.The field of economics encompasses the analysis of economic relationships of all kinds between businesses, consumers, and state institutions. Skills in economics are indispensable in most areas of today's working world, and can be applied in diverse situations. Such skills are an integral part of this degree program.At the University of Oldenburg, considerable emphasis is placed on the fields of business administration and economics. Business administration (BWL) focuses on the organization and function of businesses, whilst economics (VWL) examines broader relationships between actors in the economy, as well as the legal aspects of such relationships.
