9/15/2025The Master's degree course in Physics of the Earth and Atmosphere (PEA) has been offered jointly by the Meteorological Institute and the Geodynamics/Geophysics Department of the Steinmann Institute since the winter semester of 2009/2010. There is also a cooperation with the Institute of Geophysics and Meteorology at the University of Cologne. The degree course builds on the Bachelor's degree course in Meteorology (or Meteorology and Geophysics). However, it is also possible to enroll in the PEA with a Bachelor's degree in other subjects such as physics, geosciences, or geography.
