The aim of the transnational bachelor's degree program 'Social Work (Transnational)' is to enable students to act independently and professionally in the various practical fields of social work. This is done based on scientific knowledge and scientific methods in a national and transnational context that connects the Arab/Jordanian with the European/German region. The course is supported as a transnational educational project with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).The course is intended, in particular, to impart professional, social, and personal skills. These should enable students to identify, describe, analyze, and explain social problems in geographical, cultural, and linguistic contexts, as well as to develop action plans from them, put them into practice, and check their effectiveness.Graduates of the Social Work degree program automatically receive state recognition as social pedagogues in Germany.*Teaching starts in English and switches to German in the higher semesters.
