5/31/2026The TUM Master's program in Pharmaceutical Bioprocess Engineering is unique in Germany. It integrates engineering and natural sciences, focusing deeply on plant engineering, process engineering, molecular biology, bioprocesses, pharmaceutical technology, production and fermentation processes, reactor technology, protein chemistry and analysis, hygiene, quality management, and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical production. Graduates are prepared to manufacture biotechnological drugs in accordance with legal standards, design and optimize production facilities and processes, and pursue careers in pharmaceutical, biotechnological, chemical, cosmetic industries, research, development, production, engineering, plant design, and quality management.
