The Master of Arts in Musikjournalismus at TU Dortmund University is a cooperation between the institutes for music, musicology and journalism, combining theoretical and practical aspects. Students learn to critically understand musical cultural phenomena, represent them journalistically, and research music for various platforms such as radio, TV, print, online, and social media. The program deepens journalistic and musicological skills established in the undergraduate stage and prepares graduates for careers in music journalism with a strong focus on classical music communication.
