1/15/2026The Master's degree programme in Sustainable Energy Engineering at TU Braunschweig takes an interdisciplinary approach to energy topics, from energy generation to its transport, distribution and consumption, focusing on engineering and sustainability. The program includes core qualification modules in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and chemistry, as well as basic and elective modules such as Regenerative Energy Engineering, Life Cycle Assessment, and Sustainability in Production and Logistics. Students choose one out of three specialisations: (Electro-)Chemical Energy Engineering, Physical Energy Engineering, or Energy- and Resource-efficient Processes. The course further features interdisciplinary modules, a student research project and concludes with a Master’s thesis.
