7/15/2026During your studies you will acquire all the necessary skills to recognise problems, to get to the heart of such problem, to describe them by means of modelling and, finally, to solve them. As a graduate of TU Braunschweig, you will be able to work your way into the most diverse fields of activity quickly and efficiently in your future professional live. You can get a first practical insight into the world of physics by choosing a minor during your studies. You will benefit from the range of subjects offered by an institute of technology: in addition to computer sciences, chemistry and mathematics, you can also choose an engineering minor such as aerospace engineering. The area of specialisation provides additional hands-on training in the form of practice-oriented modules. Institutes and courses are all under one roof at the Physics Centre, meaning everything is within easy reach. Even as a first-year student, you will know your way around in no time. To promote a successful course of study, we will set you up with a mentor who will be your personal point of contact throughout your studies.

General Requirement: Most of the courses offered at TU Braunschweig are taught in German. Therefore, when applying for a German-language degree programme, you must submit one of the following German language certificates by the application deadline: TestDaF with at least 4 points in each section of the test telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule DSH 2 Sprachdiplom of the Kultusministerkonferenz (Stufe II) C2-Zertifikat of the Goethe Institute Feststellungsprüfung of the Studienkolleg For non-restricted degree programmes, you only need to prove that you are attending at least a German course at level B2 at the time of application. For enrolment, you must submit one of the above-mentioned German language certificates. Unfortunately, enrolment is not possible without this language certificate!
