7/15/2026The Master's degree program in Informatics (M.Sc.) at KIT is a flexible program consisting of core modules, in-depth modules, supplementary modules, and interdisciplinary key qualifications. Students can freely choose courses without compulsory subjects and select two specialization subjects in computer science. Core modules provide advanced foundations; practical seminars and courses supplement advanced fields. Supplementary modules may include disciplines such as law, mathematics, engineering, social sciences, business, physics, and more. Program is 120 ECTS, completed within 4-6 semesters (2-3 years). All instruction is in German. Graduates have access to broad career opportunities in research, industry, IT, engineering, data science, and more.
