6/15/2026The Master's degree program in Computer Science at KIT offers a high degree of freedom of choice with no compulsory courses. Students choose two specialization subjects, such as Algorithm Engineering, Cryptography and Security, System Architecture, Robotics and Automation, IT Security, Advanced Artificial Intelligence, and others. Four core modules must be taken. The program includes core modules, specialization modules, complementary subject modules, and interdisciplinary modules. The complementary subject covers areas outside of computer science, such as Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Business Economics, and more. The program is research-oriented and allows students to tailor their studies to their interests with possibilities to spend time abroad.
