7/15/2025The MSc Civil Engineering (Bauingenieurwesen) at KIT is a 2-year, 120 ECTS on-campus degree focused on in-depth engineering and research. Students choose two of five specialist areas (engineering structures, water and environment, mobility and infrastructure, technology & management in construction, geotechnical engineering) for core study, with supplementary electives. Admission requires a bachelor in civil engineering or closely related with subject-specific credits in core areas. Instruction is mainly in German.
