The master's program "Specialized Translation and Translation Technologies" (M.A. Translation, Kommunikation, Sprachtechnologie "Fachübersetzen und Übersetzungstechnologie") is an international double-degree between Heidelberg University and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Students spend the first year in Chile and the second in Heidelberg. The program focuses on specialized translation in Spanish, German, and English, translation technologies, and intercultural communication. After graduation, students are qualified as multilingual communication experts for German, Ibero-American, and English-speaking scientific, cultural, and economic contexts.
