9/30/2025The Master\'s program Global History at Heidelberg University focuses on new world and global history, studying interactions, mobility, and relationships within and between various parts of the world since the Middle Ages. Students examine histories of Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the Americas, and Oceania, selecting two areas with one as a specialization. The curriculum integrates methodological and research modules, interdisciplinary approaches, and concludes with a Master\'s thesis. The program is taught by leading scholars at the Faculty of Philosophy and Heidelberg Centre for Transcultural Studies.
