1/15/2026An increased use of renewable energies - and thus of hydropower, wind energy and solar radiation as well as biomass and geothermal energy - in the electricity, heat and fuel markets is a significant key to our future. Against this background, the aim of this Master's program in Renewable Energies is to enable students to identify, analyze and evaluate solutions to the challenges that will face the energy industry and the various energy systems in the coming years from the perspective of climate protection and security of supply, and to develop strategies for their implementation, based on a sound knowledge of the various options for using renewable energies in contrast to fossil fuels.
