This knowledge can be used to derive recommendations for action and make better decisions.This capability's already high and ever-increasing importance for entire economies, companies, and organizations, across all areas of life and industries, is undisputed. More and more use cases demonstrate the high benefits, particularly in digitalization.With digitalization in today's sense, IT no longer just supports business processes, but itself becomes a component of products, business models, etc. This continuously generates unimaginably large amounts of data. The success of innovations is largely based on the aforementioned ability to quickly and economically extract knowledge from the data and use it as beneficially as possible.
