Unlike traditional disciplinary study, LAS emphasizes a broad-based curriculum that integrates knowledge from diverse disciplines such as humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics. Moreover, LAS programs offer students greater flexibility in their education, allowing them to explore their interests and passions. The curriculum is structured to provide students with a range of choices, enabling them to tailor their education to their individual needs and aspirations. After the first LAS year, you can choose one of four Majors: 1) Culture and History 2) Governance 3) Life Sciences 4) Environmental and Sustainability Sciences The type of degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) depends on choice of Major.
