7/15/2025The Master of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at Hochschule Bremen is designed to prepare students for prominent roles in the maritime industry. This three-semester program, taught in English, builds on the competencies acquired in undergraduate studies, enabling graduates to work independently and manage complex engineering tasks. The curriculum focuses on deepening engineering fundamentals with an emphasis on computer-based methods, and includes an extensive design project that simulates real-world challenges. In the second semester, students can specialize through elective modules. The program culminates in a Master's thesis in the third semester. Graduates are well-equipped for careers in shipbuilding, maritime supply industries, engineering consultancies, shipping companies, and maritime research institutes, both in Germany and internationally. The program also offers the opportunity for cross-border cooperation through partnerships with companies abroad.
