7/15/2025International Management is the course for everyone who is particularly interested in business in an intercultural environment, who wants to prepare for a management position abroad, and who wants to expand their language and cultural knowledge. The bachelor's degree course in International Management takes particular account of the increasing international interdependence of the economy. In addition to business English, the course also includes the study of another foreign business language from the faculty's range. A large proportion of the business management courses are held in English. One semester must be spent abroad as a study or practical semester. In addition to national regulations, international legal provisions are also covered in depth. Moderate specialization takes place in two in-depth modules in the 6th and 7th semesters, the content of which is geared to the special requirements of globally operating companies. A balanced mix of technical, methodological, social, and management skills is thus taught. The range of in-depth modules and other elective modules takes into account the students' interests and future career expectations and is adapted by the faculty to current needs. Students have the opportunity to tailor their studies to a specific language and cultural area by choosing suitable courses and, if they have the appropriate qualifications, receive a cultural area certificate in addition to their final certificate. The future competencies of internationality, sustainability, and digitalization are integrated into the course content. The business administration course was voted into the top group in Germany by students in the renowned CHE university ranking.
