The Master’s program in Music Education is offered at the Mannheim Study Center . The Master's program qualifies students for teaching as a music teacher at Waldorf schools (grades 1-12), for academic work, and opens up the possibility of pursuing a doctorate. The program covers pedagogical and academic topics, both didactically and methodically. This focuses on how melody, harmony, and rhythm can support the development of children and adolescents. Furthermore, the program focuses on artistic development through intensive musical practice. Practical piano playing at school and choir and ensemble conducting are fundamental components of the program. In addition, instrumental or vocal instruction is an integral part of the program.
