After reviewing the application documents, suitable candidates are invited for an audition, in which they perform a prepared presentation as well as a number of impromptu movement tasks. We are interested in your relationship to movement, music and literature as well as your motivation to study.

• BAföG The Eurythmy programme can be funded through BAföG. Funding for Students of Eurythmy Alanus University grants interest-free loans to eurythmy students. Funding is available from the 2nd academic year in the Bachelor's programme and from the 1st academic year in the Master's programme (full-time only). Scholarship in 1st Academic Year Thanks to a private endowment

• Upon successful completion of the Bachelor’s degree, further professional qualification is possible through a Master’s programme. The Master’s Programme in eurythmy is offered in three specialisations: Performative Eurythmy, Eurythmy in Schools and Society, and Eurythmy Therapy. All three courses lead to the internationally recognised academic title Master of Arts. More information is available under Master’s Programme Eurythmy. We also offer a number of advanced training events, including seminars, symposia, and conferences on various topics in the field of eurythmy. The degree programme in eurythmy at Alanus University provides the opportunity to explore and reflect on the principles of human movement as well as a thorough training in the techniques of eurythmy. Core studies include practical artistic ensemble and solo work as well as lectures and seminars. They are characterised by: Intense ensemble work and diverse projects Each academic year, an artistic programme with a special focus is developed and performed in various educational and cultural institutions. (1st year: eurythmy with objects, 2nd year: fairytale project, 3rd year: self-directed project, 4th year: Bachelor's thesis project and tour). Comprehensive study with classical and contemporary music and/or poetry Each year, a composition and/or poetry symposium takes place, which opens direct dialogue with contemporary composers and/or poets. The entire spectrum of musical works – from Beethoven to rap – is worked with the basis for performances. Interdisciplinary exchange within the university In interdisciplinary tandem teams, projects are developed jointly with students from other disciplines. Students from all departments also meet in the Studium Generale – a supplementary cultural studies programme of lectures and seminars. Practical Phases Internships in eurythmy education at schools and kindergartens, eurythmy therapy or youth projects are an integral component of the course and provide in-depth insight into potential professional fields.
